Crabcakes are one of my favorites. And this is one of my favorite crabcake recipes.

Toss some mayonnaise, an egg, some celery, green onions, parsley, lemon juice, a little Old Bay seasoning, some Dijon mustard, a little salt, and splash of hot sauce. Stir this up. Then add in one pound of crab meat. Then dump in some bread crumbs. Mix this all up. Now for the messy part, take small amounts of the mixture and make some patties.

Next take a little butter and melt it in a skillet. Add some olive oil and heat the oil. While you’re doing this, coat the patties with a light coat of bread crumbs. Then place them in the skillet to brown a little. Also preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Once the crabcakes are browned, place them on a sheet, and bake them for 10 minutes.

And now you have crabcakes.
