This is so easy to make and it tastes wonderful. And it’s not bad for you. Those three things always make for a perfect meal right? So let’s get started
First boil some water and add the penne. While the penne is cooking cut up like 4 tomatoes. Then tear up a large handful of fresh basil. It’s best to use the fresh, it just tastes better. Then chop up about a ¼ cup of Italian parsley. Then add some mozzarella balls. (Just take a spoon to the block of mozzarella that you have and scoop it out.)
Now your penne should be finished. Drain it, and add the ingredients you’ve prepared. Add some slices of chicken breast. Add some olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. And mix it all together in a bowl. And you have a flavorful dish to serve your loved ones.
Now I said it was healthy, and it is. Keep in mind pasta gets a bad rap. It’s full of vitamin a, and folic acid. And vitamin a is great for bones, and your eyes. For all of our friends who are gluten sensitive, get the gluten free type. Pasta is also fat free.
Tomatoes are kind of a super fruit. They help prevent cancer, heart disease, and high cholesterol. That’s a lot of bang for a little fruit.
Basil is full of nutrients which promote anti-inflammatory issues. Hurray!
And parsley is a natural diuretic.
