What My Dream Home Would Look Like

I was looking through pictures on pinterest of what my dream home might look like. I thought that maybe a home with a beautiful poolside would be great. It would be so nice to have my own swimming pool.

Then I decided perhaps a wonderful home in the woods would be a dream come true.

Or maybe one big beautiful mansion could be the dream home.

But then I realized, this is really my dream home. The one I live in now because it’s where I am happy. And after all it’s not the home I love, but the lived in the home.

  1. It true what you say! I want a home, not a house. If the home comes with a pool, GREAT!

  3. Yes, it's the people in a house and their personal things that make a house a home. That said, I wouldn't say no to that house in the woods! : )

  4. Such beautiful houses, but I agree with your sentiment! It's all about happiness, not the fancy houses that money can buy.

  9. Oh I love this! Isn't amazing when we think about all the things we'd like to have or would be nice to have and then we realize what we do have cannot be replaced because it is priceless?? Be ye content with such things as ye have... oy - I'm constantly telling myself this.

Hope you have a good week!

  10. Great post. I love the house in the woods, since that is where I am from. A national forest at that. Seems a bit different now in the concrete jungle. !!

  11. Well, at least you've got options, heheh. I would be interested in seeing a version of a house that would incorporate all those design pegs which you've laid out, along with your personal touch, since all of those came from you as well, definitely. Maybe, just maybe, you can bring that dream home to life. :)
