Baked Steak With Tomatoes

It’s winter so nobody wants a wimpy meal, bring on the meat, bring on the fixings. This is a pretty easy recipe for a twist on traditional steak. Baked Steak with Tomatoes with provide you with some meat, and a few vegetables too.


What you’ll need

¼ cup flour
½ teaspoon seasoned salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 ½ pounds trimmed round steak
½ cup thinly sliced onion
1 cup sliced green pepper
1 cup sliced mushrooms
14 ounce can diced tomatoes
¼ cup horseradish sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

What you need to do


Combine flour, seasoned salt, and pper,. Cut steak into serving size pieces. Cover the steak in the flour mixture. Place in an oiled baking dish. Place the onions, green peppers, and mushroom on top of the steak. Drain the tomatoes and set aside the juice. Add the tomatoes on top of the steak. Mix the juice, horseradish sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour the sauce over the steak. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 to an hour. Serve over brown rice.
