Zero Verdict Music Review

Zero Verdict is a three man band from Finland. And they have released a new four track album called Clarity. And the release will please fans of hard rock.  The band has presented a well-crafted first release that features bass, guitar, drums and vocals.

Like most hard rock the songs on the album are a little longer that what you hear in pop music. So it gives the musicians a chance to stretch a little. The song Lost in the Haze starts out with a slow sweet melody and guitar. The song is all about when you feel like you’re in a dream. The singer is trying to figure out why he is there. A couple minutes into the song the song speeds up. It really fits well with the lyrics. The vocals focus on where should I go now? The song has solid lyrics; the guitarist is able to show off his abilities later in the song. And he can play. This is my favorite song on the album.

The band’s music reminded me a lot of Queensryche. I don’t know if it’s the lead singer’s voice, or if it has to do with the lyrics to the songs. Overall, this is a really good first album from this band, and hopefully we will hear more from them in the future.
