A few weeks ago, I saw infused salt in several shops online. I then began to look at how you get infused salt. And I discovered it really isn’t that difficult to make. In fact it’s pretty easy. So here is what you need in order to make a really simple orange infused salt.
This is all you need.
Yep, two things are all you need, an orange and some sea salt.
First put the sea salt on a paper towel. Next, peel the orange, Arrange the orange peels and around the salt on the paper towel.
Let them sit for overnight. You’ll notice that the oils from the orange peels will have seeped into the paper towel. That’s what is supposed to happen. It’s also being absorbed into the salt.
So what you end up with is a salt with a little taste of salt. It’s that simple! You can use it to cook fish, shrimp or poultry. Try it you’ll like it!
