Tagine Moroccan Vegetables

Looking for a healthy side dish for your Thanksgiving meal this year? Maybe you want something a little less traditional. Maybe even something with a little bit of an exotic twist to some of the favorite foods of Thanksgiving. Tangine Moroccan Vegetables might be the ticket to a twist on that traditional ingredient of sweet potatoes.

 
 
Here's What You Need


1 cup cooked sweet potatoes cut into pieces
1/4 chopped onion
1/2 red bell pepper chopped
1 small zucchini chopped
1 tomato chopped
1/2 cup chopped carrots
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup garbonzo beans
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 cloves minced garlic
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp ginger

What You Need to Do

Saute the onion and garlic in the olive oil. Next add the remaining ingredients into the same skilled. Cook the items over a medium high heat for 15 minutes. And now you have that exotic side dish that will add something unique to your Thanksgiving dinner.
