Grilled Beef Salad With Kiwi and Pomegranate

Grilling season has begun. And adding grilled steak to a salad just tastes fantastic. Here's a great grilled steak recipe with a little fruit added to the mixture.

Here's What You Need

4 garlic cloves
3 shallots chopped
1/2 inch piece of ginger root peeled
1 red chili seeded and chopped
1 pound steak
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon honey
sunflower oil
2 sliced kiwis
1/4 cup pomegranate seeds

Here's What You Do

Grind you first three items into a paste. Then set it aside. Slice your steak in strips. It was easiest to do this by rolling it up. Put the steak in a bowl with the paste. Then add the soy sauce and honey. Allow this to marinate for about an hour. While it's marinating slice your kiwis and pull out your pomegranate seeds. Pile all of these on top of your greens. I used a mixture of kale, swiss chard, and spinach. Next throw your steak on the grill. It won't take long to cook. And then toss it on the salad.
