If You Were Me and Lived In Middle Ages

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in the Middle Ages? Carole P. Roman's book tells the story to children of what it is like to live in the Middle Ages.

The Story

This book is a great way for children to learn history. The author encourages them to see themselves as a person living in the Middle Ages. The story is told from the perspective of a noble girl. She tells about all the different people from peasants to Lords and how they live their daily lives. The story is enhanced with beautiful illustrations that show the reader what it looked like in that time period.

What I Liked

I really liked that this story encourages the reader to see themselves living in the Middle Ages. It makes the past more interesting to the reader. They are able to identify with the people who lived then. And they can use their imagination to see what it might have felt like. And that makes the story come alive to readers. This book is part of a series of books that encourage children to learn about the past.

Who Should Read This Book

This book is a good book for children who are interested in learning about the world around them. Teachers who wish to teach children about the middle ages can put this book to good use. And it would be a great addition to any library.

I did receive a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, but the opinions expressed are all mine.
