It Happens Every Seven Years

Some people see seven as a lucky number. Some people don't care about that type of thing. But there are a few things in the world that happen every seven years. Or for those things in life seven is a magical number.

Rata Trees

The rata tree is a native tree of New Zealand. It flowers every seven years. And guess what the honey that is produced from this flowering is one of the most sought after honeys in the world.  It has a distinct taste. But plan on paying for the taste. It's selling for about $30.00 for 17 oz.

It takes seven years to replace most of the cells in your body. Imagine that what you put into your body will take seven years to be totally out of it.

One of the great tastes of fall is the pear. It's a great source of fiber and Vitamin C. And yep, it takes seven years to fully bloom.

Whiskey drinkers know that seven years in a cask equals a fresh mark for fine whiskeys.

Becoming a Wizard

Seven years is what it took for Harry Potter to become a full blown wizard. Remember just not being able to wait for the next book or movie?

It takes about seven years for a lobster to obtain a body weight of one pound. That's the size lobster most people want when they purchase them.
