DIY Hairbow Barrette

If you read my post last week Thrifty Finds, you know that I found some great items at the thrift store. And I absolutely love upcycled items. So here is the first of the items that are being upcycled from that thrift store trip.
I found this pretty little girls dress. I loved the fabric. So the first thing I did was take off the bow. And of course I thought this would make a great barrette.

Here's What You Need

Hot Glue Gun
Hair Clips
Hot Glue
Wax Paper

Here's What You Do

Put a piece of wax paper between your clip. Next take your glue gun and glue that bow on your clip. It's so simple, and well it cost under a dollar.

So make sure you stay tuned for more thrifty finds, and upcycled art.
