Rooney's brother is mean to a neighbor boy. She must be brave in order to make the situation correct. She is shown the story of Abigail. And through Abigail's example she is able to solve the problem.
What I Like
I really like that this story guides Rooney through solving a difficult problem. The problem Rooney faces is one that could occur in the life of any child. And I like how she applies lessons that she learned from the previous stories too. And this is a story that young girls can read themselves.
Who Should Read This Book
This book is targeted at girls, but I do believe that it can be enjoyed by both girls and boys. It would definitely teach boys about the women of the Bible and their importance in that world. Parents, if you are looking for a story that will be a positive in your daughter's life, this book is for you.
I did receive a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
