Earlier this month, I went to the annual scarfbombing that is held by individuals in the city to raise awareness of homelessness. It's a chance for individuals to give just a little to those individuals who don't have a home. It's a chance to give them some basics that they need during the winter.

Scarfbombing is so simple to do. All you have to do is go out and tie a scarf around a tree. It will be available for anyone to take the scarf that needs it. It looks a little something like this.

Sceptics say these events do very little for the homeless. That may or may not be true. But it does encourage individuals to become more involved in their communities. And it also encourages individuals to be givers. And it encourages individuals to be a little more kind. And doesn't the world need a little more kindness?
