Three Ways To Turn Your Day Around

Some days you get out of bed, and stub your toe. Then you trip over something. And then you can't find your favorite flavor of oatmeal because someone else ate it. Things just don't start out the way you want them to. And you have a choice to make let things continue the way they are. Or change the way it is going. If you are smart you will change the way things are going. The change you have to make is the attitude you have towards those little mishaps. Here are three ways to turn that day around.

Take a Look At The Good

Just because a few little things went wrong in the morning, it doesn't mean your entire day has to be bad. There are loads of good things that happened to you even though there have been lots of bad ones. For instance you were able to get out of bed that morning. Go to a hospital or local nursing home. You will find lots of people who would love to be able to jump out of bed. They just can't do it because they don't have the strength to do it.

Find Alternatives

Even though your favorite oatmeal is gone, you still have to eat breakfast. Try something different than you would normally eat. It might become your new favorite.


There are just some things in life that you have to laugh at. You would have figured that so many little things could happen in so short a time. Run a mental image of yourself as you respond to these little things. You will probably find them quite funny.
