Is Your Cat a Demon Cat?

Yes, she looks so sweet and innocent, but she’s not. My friends refer to her as a demon cat. And while she has a sweet side, there are times when she has a few minor behavior issues. So what is a good pet owner to do?

First, don’t be afraid to use a spray bottle containing water. You can make your little demon cat stop mid action by just grabbing one. They don’t like it, and they will stop being a little demon while you’re watching.

Second, keep a can of change around with a lid. For some reason, they don’t like the sound. And they will often stop what you’re doing to see what they are doing wrong.

Third, use a stern voice. Believe it or not cats do like please the human they are attached to. And they don’t like to be scolded. And they will often stop the behavior the participating in when you are present.

And lastly, praise your little demon cat when she does something right. They appreciate a loving voice, and they will often repeat behaviors to get your affection when they want affection.

Keep in mind cats really do have a mind of their own, but they will listen to you, just not all the time.

  2. Hi! Stopping by from KarenLynn's From the Farm Blog Hop. I have a little demon kitty, and the spray bottle words magic. He's a wonderful cat, but he hasn't outgrown his 'kitten' stage yet, despite being 1.5 years old. He'll attack anything within walking distance, so we keep the water bottle handy at all times :)
