Beauty is only skin deep. But it sure feels good to have beautiful skin doesn't it? It seems that when we look good we often feel a little better about ourselves. And here are a few simple tips that will help make your skin more beautiful.


Without enough water your skin cells will become dry. We've all heard that water is important to our bodies, but did you know that the body sends water to other organs before it sends it to our skin. So that means that we need to drink plenty of water. I know that there are many individuals who don't like water, but hey you want to look good don't you?

Healthy Foods

That old saying we are what we eat is pretty much true when it comes to your skin. Vitamin A, C, and E are all important for healthy skin. And the best place to get those vitamins is from the food you eat. That means pass up the bag of chips and eat some carrots or apples when you want something crunchy. Your skin will look better if you do this consistently.

Wash Your Face

Yep, it's just that simple. A regular skin care routine is necessary for beautiful skin. That means morning and evening. And it doesn't have to be expensive either. All you need is water, some mild soap, and you can even use baking soda as an exfoliant. And use a facial crème without loads of chemicals.

Get the Right Amount of Sleep

Get to know your body. Seven to nine hours of sleep is what is recommended for an adult. It depends on what you require. The proper amount of sleep relaxes the muscles in your face giving you more beautiful skin. Also lying down decreases the affects of gravity.

  1. I do 3 out of the 4. I'm not really good at eating terribly healthy, but I do eat fairly well.

  2. I don't always eat that good but the other stuff I do and my nanna always taught us to moisturize our face and neck and to not to go out in the harsh sun without protection for our skin

  3. I'm not very good with eating healthy foods as I do occasionally do unhealthy stuff, plus sleep is lacking these days. :-(
