Spring Yard Clean Up

Oh, yes spring is just around the corner. And the weather is up and down if you live in the Midwest. And well there are some things that need to be done in the yard before things start growing. Starting on those warmer winter days can make the spring gardening much easier.

As you can see my yard has suffered from a little neglect over the past few years. I worked really hard to clear leaves out last fall. But I have this huge oak tree in the yard. But oak trees like to hang on to their leaves and so there are still a few of them around the yard. I love that tree, but I just wish it would shed all of its leaves early in the fall so I could take of it
So the first thing is to start gather up all of those leaves that hung around through the winter. And then gather up those twigs and branches that have fallen.

If you can use some of those leaves for compost. I have more than enough so they need to be sent to the great place where all unwanted leaves go.

As you can see the dancing chicken has been put to work raking leaves or just entertaining me while I work in the yard.

Sometimes I wonder if that tree will still be standing with all of the branches it has lost. I also need to start fixing some of the borders for the plants. Yes over the years they have been knocked out of place. But I'm not quite at the point where I can fix those yet.

While I was out cleaning up the yard, I noticed that some of the bulbs had to started to come up. There were some that have come closer to the surface than they should so I added some compost to cover the bulbs and roots that were showing.

So have any of you been struck by gardening fever and started their spring yard clean up yet?

Sunday Thoughs

Sunday is a day for relaxation, and spending time doing things we enjoy. And well with relaxation you start thinking about what is good in your life. These are a few of the really good moments that have happened this week.

The Coloring and Card Game Meeting

Yes, a couple of friends and I have decided to meet up each week to play games and color. I forgot how weird the rules are for Mille Borne. I haven't played the game since I was a child. And my friend Andy dug out an original set of the game. A real vintage game from the 1970's. It was a good time last week.

Sailor Moon

Yes, I met with some friends at the Geek Girl Brunch a couple of weeks ago. One of them mentioned how big a fan they were of Sailor Moon. I have watched the series in the past, but I decided to watch it again. Yes, it is addictive. But it's a fun kind of addictive. The good news is I finished binge watching Shameless(the UK version) so I have more time to watch Sailor Moon. What on earth did we do for entertainment before Netflix and Youtube? I just can't imagine life without them anymore.
Find of the Week

I was in the mood to shop. And well I shouldn't be spending much money, but I ran into the Goodwill
This was the fabulous find of the day. It dances too! There are big things in store for this chicken.

Helping Someone Out

A friend of mine contacted me and asked for a ride somewhere. I'm glad that I have time to help others out right now. Last year at this time I was just focused on surviving my job. I can finally give back to all of those people who put up with me while I was under all that stress.

Saying No

I have the tendency to do things even though I don't want to so that I don't make waves. Yep, yesterday I just said no to something. The person wasn't very happy. But I feel like I didn't let someone take advantage of me that has been recently. Yay, Me!

So what's been going on in your life?

Don't miss the chance to be a winner!

Everything Is Coming Up Roses

So here are a few versions of some roses that I purchased the other day. I couldn't really decide how I liked the picture best when I did photo editing.

Let me know which photo you like best.

Apple Honey Facial Mask

It always feels great to have get a facial, but let's face it most of us can't afford a day at the spa. So we settle for those at home spa moments. A homemade apple honey facial mask is one really great way to make your skin look healthier and feel great.

Here's What You Need

Half of a green apple
Half of a lemon
1 Tablespoon Honey
1 Tablespoon fresh yogurt

Here's What You Do

Put your items in a food processor. And hit the button blend it up until it's all smooth. Apply the mixture to your face, and let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes. Then wash it off with a washcloth.

Why is this so good for your skin?

Apples are packed full of Vitamin C. That helps with collagen production. This provides smoother and plumper skin. We all want that don't we? Honey is great because it has anti-bacterial components. If you have trouble with acne this is super for your skin. Lemon is a great exfoliant. And that yogurt is packed full of lactic acid which refines pores. All of these items are probably already in your fridge and cupboards. So it is far less expensive than products that you may buy at the store. And the side benefit is you know exactly what is going into your facial mask.

Blueberry Banana Sandwich Spread

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But it's often the meal that we want to put the least amount of effort into. I mean seriously who wants to get up first thing in the morning and cook a big meal? I don't. But you can make a healthy and tasty breakfast with a lot of things that are already in your kitchen. And the great thing about this spread is it takes less than five minutes to prepare.

Here's What You Need

1/4 cup plain yogurt
1 ripe smashed banana
1 teaspoon honey
1/4 cup fresh blueberries
1 bagel
peanut butter

Here's What You Do

Mash the banana up with a fork in a bowl. Next add your blueberries and mash them a little. Add your honey and yogurt. And mix this all together. Spread the peanut butter and the blueberry banana spread over your bagel. This should be served fresh. It's easy so you can prepare it in the morning before you go out the door.

Need another simple spread for your bagel?

Mukhabarat Baby

We all believe that the life of a CIA agent is all glamour and travel. But the truth is not so wonderful.

The Story

Eric Burkhart is a retired CIA officer. He worked for the agency for many years, and in this book he shares his story of what it is really like to work for the there. He tells his story from how he wound up working for the agency. And then he moves through career both stateside and abroad. He tells about the mundane routine of some days. And the excitement of others. His story provides a more human face to a somewhat mysterious agency.

What I Learned

This book is a memoir of Burkhart's life at the CIA. While part of me knew there really probably is no romance in working for a large government agency. But I didn't realize just how many employees at the agency really don't work in the field. He claims that like 90% of the employees work in an office. I don't know, but that seems like a lot. I didn't know that many of the agents are required to work at the border screening individuals as they come in the country. I would imagine that can be quite trying at times. And he points out some of the positive things that agents do at the border.

What I Liked

I really liked that the author pointed out that the individuals who work for the CIA are individuals. Each one of them is unique. He points out the good and the bad about working for such a large organization. And I really enjoyed the story he told about a person who took a parking space for individuals with medical needs. We've all encountered co-workers like the one he describes.

Who Should Read This Book

Anyone who wants to know what it is really like to be a secret agent. In our heads most individuals know that it isn't like the movies. But Burkhart tells about the exciting moments, and the routine. And let's face it most of the job is routine. But this is also a good book for anyone who is going to work for a large corporation. I've worked for a couple of large companies. And it is the same at all of them. The key to a good experience is decide what is in your control and what isn't. And do the job you are assigned.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, and the opinions are all mine.

Shivers and Signposts

As we wander through life, it often takes us a while to figure out what is truly important. You may have some sort of plan about what you think you will do, but it is often not how things turn out. In essence we make plans and life just kind of happens.

The Book

Len Richman's book Shivers & Signposts is a memoir about his life. During his life he has marched to the beat of a different drummer. And by doing that he has had experiences that many individuals have not had. He tells about the experiences and the lessons he has learned from his life journey. He tells stories about how he got to the different places in his life. I really like that he doesn't just tell about the rosy part of leading a life different from the ordinary, but he tells just how stressful it can be through over commitment. But through the entire journey his life is interesting.

What I Learned

This book actually reminded me that it is fine when things don't run the way we planned. There are times when we will be able to have control over situations and there are times when we won't. It's how we handle these times that is really important. And he also pointed out just how important it is to say no I can do this. You need to recognize that you do have limits to what you can do. That's something I need to keep in mind.

Who Should Read This Book

Anyone who is interested in personal growth. It's always a good idea to listen to individuals who are older than us when they provide advice in life. It's even better if you receive advice from an individual who hasn't been afraid to follow their own path in life. So many people ignore their inner voice that is telling that what is really important in life. They are full of regrets. It is refreshing to let others know that you don't have to fit into a mold in order to find happiness.

Yep, the author provided me with a free copy of this book in exchange for a review, but I told you what I really thought of it.

Cancelled Vows

Imagine going to apply for your marriage license and you find out that you're already married. You find out that you did a little more than gamble during the weekend in Vegas. What now is the question.  That's exactly how the book Cancelled Vows begins.

The Story

I mentioned in the intro how the story begins. David is the main character and he decides that he must go find his wife and get a divorce ASAP. But when David and his best man Mac Faraday arrive in New York, they find that it isn't quite as easy as it seems to get the divorce papers signed. And it might get a little more complicated when a murder occurs.

What I Liked About This Book

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was fun and easy to read. It has that great story combination mystery and romance. It wasn't overly complicated. And it was nice to just read a story that was meant to entertain me. The characters are colorful. I really liked that David had a weekend that he totally forgot about. I can so imagine that happening. The author has taken a situation that we all believe can NEVER happen to us, and shown just how it could happen. And even though I try to stay away from books that are part of a series, this one doesn't require you to read the ones before or after. The story stands on its own. It may help to have read other books in the series so you know the characters a little better, but I didn't feel like I had to read the other books in order to know what was really going on in this story.

Who Should Read This Book

Fans of entertaining murder mysteries will enjoy this book. The author uses a lost weekend to create a mystery. If you want a book that is written simply to entertain you this book is for you. And of course fans of romance will also enjoy this book. I recommend this book to individuals who want a light story to read.

I did receive a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, but hey you know I would tell you if I didn't like the book.

The New Relaxation Rage

Adult coloring books have become all the rage recently. I've always enjoyed sitting down with a box off crayons and a coloring book when I've had a rough day. It provides me with the chance to be just a little creative without putting a lot of time and effort into it. So here are a few of the coloring books I would love to add to my coloring book collection.

I really like that this is spiral bound. So the pages can lie flat.  And of course the illustrations are wonderful and will want you to add your personal touch to them.

I love that this coloring book has taken international folk designs and added a twist to them so we all can add our own mark to the designs.

This one is a little more expensive, but it has wonderful designs that focus around the forest.

I am so looking forward to the spring flowers. And well this coloring book reminds me of all of the flowers that will come.

Robots Coloring Book
This one is a pdf but hey they are cute. And just a little different than the flowers the robots are seriously cute!

So are you enjoying the new relaxation rage as much as I am?

Mission Impossible So Why Bother

Have you ever been presented with a problem in life that seems a little overwhelming? And when those situations come up have you ever thought to yourself why do I bother? It feels like you have been presented with Mission Impossible.

Do you remember the intro to Mission Impossible? Your mission should you choose to accept...

That statement has always stood out in my mind. It uses the word choose. You see how we respond to an impossible situation is our choice.

One of those situations recently came about in my life. They told me the job I currently have will be eliminated as well as four other jobs in my department. My faithful followers already know this. We all still are employed we just don't know which department we all will wind up in.

The mission for me was how do you continue to do your job to the best of your ability when you know it won't exist in the future. I decided in order to do that I needed to stay positive. It isn't always easy when others are venting their anger about the situation. But I do have to remind myself that there others who aren't as fortunate as I am. There are individuals who are presented with the mission impossible of loosing their job in their department as well as loosing their job with the company. I have to remind myself when other individuals are complaining.

So why bother with maintaining a good attitude? While there are times when it might be easier to join in with the complainers, overall, I'm in a better mood than they are. It's a lot of work to be upset all the time. So I am saving myself a lot energy that would be put into voicing my complaints. That doesn't mean that I don't say that I would rather stay in the job I have. It just means that I've decided to think maybe there is a better opportunity out there.

So do you choose to accept the mission impossibles in your life?

The Discerning Eater

First of all, I want everyone to know that I am not a picky eater. I am a discerning eater. You see the trouble in the neighborhood all started with this.

The cat that lives inside the house is a little older than I am. He is quite friendly, and we greet each other through the screen door daily. The pet human decided to purchase him food that might be "good for him". Like most individuals he id not like that word senior on his bag of food. And like most good felines he wouldn't eat the stuff unless there was absolutely nothing else provided. And even then he had to be extremely hungry.

Then the human got an idea. Maybe I would like to try this food. I was appalled.  Anyone can tell by looking at me that I am not a senior citizen. I would not have this. I pranced around the food hoping initially that this was a simple mistake by the human, but oh no, she continued to put it out. How was I going to make this behavior stop?

It was simple I told the local possum family that there was some extra food available for a while. They assisted me with eating the food, and it was a sweet sight when I saw that human carry in a bag of the other food we used to eat. I guess we taught her a lesson.

But it is strange that she has begun calling me Mr. Picky Pants. Once again I'll say it I'm not picky, I'm discerning.

Easy Do It Yourself Sage Essential Oil

Have you ever gone to purchase essential oils? They can be a bit pricey. There has to be an cheaper and easier way to get those oils right? Well there is. You can make it yourself.

Here's What You Need

A Small Clean Jar
Fresh Sage
Grapeseed Oil

Here's What You Need

Take your sage and put it in a baggie. Roll a rolling pin over it a couple of times. You want to bruise it a little. Now pack your sage into the jar. Fill the jar as full as you can. And then cover it in oil. Put a lid on the jar and let it sit for a couple of weeks. It works better if you use a dark jar. (I didn't have a dark colored jar in the house when I made this.) Make sure that you shake the jar once a jar while the oil is infusing.

Did You Know?

Did you know that sage oil contains anti-fungal agents? It can help treat athlete's foot. Is it a cure. Maybe, I'm no scientist, but it could be a simple place to start if you have suffer from itchy feet.

The Legend of the Easter Robin

Children's books provide readers with the opportunity to see a story as well as read it. The Legend of the Easter Robin is one of those books.

The Story

This is the story of a little girl who finds a bird nest outside her grandmother's window. It is still cold out and the little girl wants to take care of the birds. But her grandmother cautions her that God takes care of everything. The little girl sees that the robin has laid eggs. And waits for them to hatch. As the grandmother tells her that she must continue to trust God to care for the birds, she then tells her the story of the Easter robin.

What I Liked About

I really liked how this book tied the legend to the birds that were outside the window. It blended in perfectly with the story. The illustrations in the book are wonderful. They really compliment the story. I'm sure that children will really enjoy the book.

Who Should Read This Book

This book is would be great for a parent to read to their child or grandchild. It's a book that would allow families to share time together, and it would help children develop a love for reading.

Super Youth Eye Gel by Oz Naturals

When I was given the chance to provide a product review for Oz Naturals Super Youth Eye Gel in exchange for an honest review, I jumped at the chance.  I have had good experiences with Oz products in the past so I wanted to see if this continued.

The Product

When I received the product, it was packed well. The container was not damaged in transport. I opened up the box and it contained the eye gel. The container has a pull off lid and there is a pump. I like this. I’ve had trouble with squeezing too much crème or gel from tubes before. And I find pumps easier to control.

I pumped a little on my finger tip. It had a slight whitish tin to the gel. And it smelled a little like aloe. When I read the ingredients label, the product does contain Aloe Vera. So I spread it under my eyes, it went on smoothly. There was no greasy feel to it.

The directions stated that it could be spread over the forehead and cheeks too. The gel blended in smoothly and I was able to apply a foundation after applying the gel. The website states that it can be used several times daily without clogging pores. I decided to test this out. And I used it three times in one day. Sure enough I experienced no problems with clogged pores. My skin felt clean and smooth after I used it.

I really like that this product contains jojoba oil and Aloe Vera. It also contains organic licorice. I did a little research on licorice and skin care. It turns out it’s great for your skin. And I was glad it is one of the ingredients in this gel.

This is another great product that is put out by Oz Naturals that I recommend to anyone who wants to maintain great skin.

Unknown Relative Dies Huge Inheritance

Imagine getting a notice stating that an unknown relative dies and you are receiving a huge inheritance. Here's some of the things I would spend the money on.

I loved The Sandman comic book series. It was such a great story line. And Death was my second favorite character. I really liked Delirium best. But with a huge inheritance I would get this statue.

There is nothing more relaxing than a warm bath. And I would buy a dozen of these bath bombs right away.

And of course something fun to start the day. Organic body wash for the morning shower.

Since I'll have all that money, I think I can afford something a little indulgent. And a $45.00 jar of caramel sauce would be the best.

Need I explain why? I mean it's just so much fun.

And I hope that a pot of gold finds its way into all of your lives soon.

Saint Patrick's Day Movie List

A month from today it will be Saint Patrick's Day. The day when a lot of people claim to be just a little bit Irish. While some individuals will be participating in parades and parties. Others will be watching those movies with Irish themes. Here's my list of movies I recommend for Saint Patrick's Day.

Far And Away

The 1992 movie starring Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise was all about two young Irish people who decide who through a series of events wind up immigrating to America. They are from different classes in Ireland. And they face the challenges of their new lives. It's has funny moments as well as serious ones. And while it may not be entirely accurate historically, it does give the viewers an idea of what life was like at that point in time. And it tells why so many people left Ireland during the period.

War Of The Buttons

1994 saw this version of a french story adapted to an Irish village. The movie is about the turf wars that go on around the village. It's a fun movie and kids always seem to enjoy it.

The Secret of Kells

2009 brought out this wonderful movie. It's an animated story about the boy behind The Book of Kells. It's an animated treasure. There are Viking raids, and loads of adventure. The movie earned an Oscar nomination that year. It's a beautiful film that will appeal to many.

The Crush

Sometimes the best films are actually short films. The Crush was put out in 2010. At first it seems like simple story, but boy does it get a little twisted. It's not for all ages even though it centers around a child. It's a really great film though. I recommend it!

Killing Bono

Killing Bono came out in 2011. It's about the worst decision made in your life made by someone else. The story is based on the events around the creation of the band U2. But it doesn't really focus in on U2. If you are a fan of 80's music. You should watch it. But it does have an R rating so keep that in mind.

So these are my movie pick. Let me know what you all think of them and should there be any added?

That Treasured Toy

We all have toys. Some times they mean a lot to us. And some times they are just something sitting around the house. As a child my absolute favorite toy was a stuffed donkey that I received for Christmas. I adored it. There were times when the donkey got set aside for newer toys. But I kept the donkey around.

He moved to different parts of the country. There were times when he sat in boxes for ages. There were times when he sat on my bed. As time went by he began to have a funny odor. Maybe he sat in too many basements. He looked a little sad. He was dingy too.

Then one day I listened to one of those decorators on a talk show. He told a woman to get rid of the stuffed animals from her childhood she was an adult now. For some reason it made sense to me. So I packed up my donkey who had traveled with me for years. And hauled him to the thrift store. I was an adult now. I didn't need my stuffed donkey.

Recently, I have been thinking about my stuffed donkey. I regret giving him away in the way I did. I should have found a better place for him. Should I have taken better care of who received this worn and treasured toy? And did I throw away a part of me when I sent him away. Did I throw away some of those treasured childhood dreams when I decided that I was an adult now? I'll never know for sure if any of those are what happened when he was cast aside. But I do know one thing. I miss that stuffed donkey.

It Was Not My Fault The Computer Didn't Work

I often get blamed when things don't work around the house. For instance this week I am being blamed because the computer was not working correctly. I needed to sit on the couch, in the exact same spot the computer was sitting in. I thought for a moment before I acted. I gave my pet human the look meaning that she should move the computer. She refused to comply so I simply jumped on the computer keyboard. And then all sorts of things started happening with the computer. It was not my fault. I did give the look and my pet should have complied with my demands when I gave that look. But I have been blamed for a computer malfunction. What is a feline to do?

Just What I Needed

Have you ever noticed that there are times when things aren't quite going the way you want. You think that I just can't handle more second of the situation or I will scream. This week I had a couple of minutes like that.

This week I had a couple of angry customers to deal with. Really angry! I'm working with another customer. I'm trying to tell the customer that I will assist them when I have finished with the customer I have if they would wait. No, this won't do! They must see a supervisor now. And in walks the manager. Saved by the one manager who shows up at just the right moment! She had to deal with it.

The second minute I needed was this morning. I have been feeling like I was in a bit of a rut. Same old same old. I've been going to the same places, and doing the same places. You know it's hard to stay creative when there is absolutely nothing new in your life. When there is no spark, there is no creative fire. The minute I needed when I met with some new friends today. Some friends who share my interest in geekery. The time spent talking with them was what I needed to start thinking about some new things. Ideas started to flow. And it was the second time this week that just what I needed came along at just the right moment.

Tamarind Shrimp Wrap

Every once and a while you want something that tastes different than you normally eat. You want a different spice. You want a different combination. You want a culinary adventure. That's what I was thinking when I made the tamarind sauce. And then I decided that shrimp would taste terrific in the sauce.

Easy Health Shrimp Wrap

Here's What You Need

1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 green onion chopped
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon fish sauce
2 chopped Serrano peppers
1 Tablespoon Tamarind paste
2 Tablespoons honey
2 freshly squeezed limes
6 to 8 shrimp
1 wrap

Here's What You Do

Heat the oil in a skilled. Throw in the onion and garlic until they are tender. Then the fish sauce and the peppers. Next add the tamarind, honey and limes. Cook until you have a smooth sauce. Then add the shrimp and cook until the shrimp is pinkish. Remove the shrimp from the heat. Now spread some kale leaves over half of your wrap. Next add the shrimp. And then top it off with the sprouts. The hardest part of the meal is finding the Tamarind paste. It isn't easy to do. I had to go to several different shops when I was looking for it.

Invisibility Cloak

Have you ever wished you had that Invisibility Cloak that Harry Potter had? The one that allowed him to be able to go places undetected?

It would give you the chance to go anywhere, the ability to see anything without getting caught. Imagine the places you go. You could spy on people. If you were bent on criminal activities you could pull off the perfect crime where nobody could see you.

But really, if I had one I think that I would want to put it on for an entire day. I would love to go to a festival wearing the invisibility cloak. Imagine what you could see. Imagine the conversations you would hear. And imagine all the things you would about people by just having to sit and listen. It would force me to focus in on the surroundings and not interact. We miss so much of what is going on around us because we are focusing in on the next thing we will say.

Valentia Ultimate Skin Repair & Hydration Combo Review

I never heard of Valentia skin care products until I had the opportunity to receive a free sample of their True Eye Glow Cream & Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask in exchange for an honest review.

True Eye Glow Cream

I received the cream in its well wrapped package. The design of the package is simple and white packaging with a gold trim and black print. It looks great. I opened up the package and pulled out the cream. It comes in a bottle with a pump top. I really liked this. It makes for less mess than squeezing a tube. So far the product was doing well.

I pumped some of the cream out onto my finger tip. It was a light pinkish color. I admit that I was real keen on the scent of the product, it doesn’t smell bad, but it doesn’t appeal to me. Let’s admit it scent is not the reason you purchase the cream.

I looked at the bottle to read the instructions on how to use the cream. The print was microscopic. It is the one thing that I really didn’t like about this product. I had a difficult time reading the instructions because the print was so small. But when I did read through them they were easy to follow.

All you have to do is place a small amount on your finger tip and dab it under your eye. It is easy to dab into your skin. And it didn’t leave my skin looking or feeling greasy. I really liked this. Some products make me feel a little greasy after I use them. I do believe that this product will take time to tell if it works, but I do like it so far.

I liked that the product contains Vitamin C and Rosehip Oil, which are always great combinations in a skin cream. It also contains Arnica which is supposed to assist with reducing inflammation. I don’t believe that I’ve used this in a skin care product before so I liked that it was presenting me with something different.

Overall, I like the cream.

Ultra Hydrating Plumping Mask

This mask came packaged similar to the eye cream. I opened the container, and the mask had a slight orange tint. And it looked a little like pudding. The directions on the container were much easier to read. All you do is spread the mask on clean skin. Allow it to dry for 15 to 30 minutes. And then wash it off with a warm cloth. That’s pretty simple.

So I tried the product out, it spread evenly across my face. It warns that there may be a slight tingling sensation, but I did not experience this. I did feel a little tightness. I worried that my skin may appear a little red after using the product since I have had that experience with some masks before. But this did not occur. After 15 minutes I used a warm cloth and wiped away the mask. It wasn’t messy to remove like some masks I have used in the past so I was really pleased. And my skin did feel softer and cleaner as the product described.

Of the two products I like the mask best. I will definitely be adding it to my skin care routine. I really like that both of these products are vegan friendly and cruelty free. It just gives me a little warm fuzzy feeling knowing that the company that creates the product does use care in its production.

Broken Step

I keep looking at this photo that I took a couple of weeks ago. For some reason I was fascinated by these steps. I thought about how important steps are not just in a building, but in so many areas of life. They include everything from reading to managing money. If the first step isn't solid then the rest of the walk may not be so easy. Imagine this being the first step you take into the world of reading. You might fall down. You might miss the important thing you need to learn when you fall. All because the first step wasn't solid.

Monday Marvels

It's Monday morning, and well I am once again dreaming of all those items I would purchase should I ever experience that state in my life called economic bounty. Recently, it doesn't feel like it is going to happen, but what's going on is only temporary. So here are the things I would be today if I had an unlimited supply of cash.

Yeah, it's geek chic. What geek girl doesn't need an alpacacorn sweatshirt?

Just because I've had a few moments in the past couple of weeks when disgust is all I felt. A Disgust figure from the movie Inside Out would be really appropriate.

I would love to have this collection of Geo Herriman's classic comic strips from 1934.

And who doesn't need a pink leopard print dress?
And of course a pair of cute little earrings. You know something springy.

So would any of these make it to your shopping lists?
