Wasp's Nest

Last week I reviewed the book Roma, Underground. This week I have the chance to review the book Wasp's Next which is also part of the Roma Series of books.

The Story

In this book, Alabaster returns to the United States. She returns to her job as an investigator. She is assigned to investigate a pharmaceutical company. As the story develops there is plenty of suspense, and she uses her friends from the first book in the series to help her with the investigation.

What I Think

I liked this book, it is full of suspense and there are moments that are just a little scary. I've always found books that involve conspiracies to be a little scary. The main reason for that is that while it's fiction part of me is always thinking this is possible. And the author paints a very realistic story. I like that this is a smart book. The author does a great job of painting the surroundings of Boston. And he has researched the pharmaceutical industry. This book kept my interest, and I liked the characters.

Who Should Read This Book

If you like books that involve conspiracies you will like this book. The author creates a good story that will make you want to keep reading. And if you read the first book in the Roma Series, you should definitely read this book.

I did receive a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, but the opinions are all mine.

The Author

Gabriel Valjan is the author of the Roma Series thrillers. You can learn more about him and his books through these sites.

  1. Thank you for returning to the series. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed Boston. Milan is the next stop in book 3 and delves into a slice of Italian history that is seldom discussed. Thanks again, Heidi.
