I hope all of my fellow felines had a wonderful Christmas.
Mine was truly fantabulous. I gorged on a feast of salmon and tuna. I heard the
can opener in the kitchen Christmas morning, so as usual I ran in there to see
what was going on. I knew that scent immediately! It was fish, two different
kinds of fish to be exact, tuna and salmon. It was heavenly. I instantly began
to ask for some. And low and behold, there was an entire plate of each provided
to me. It was mine, all mine! My roommates thought that some of it was for
them, but I had to remind them who exactly ran this home. That Bobaloo can be
so pushy at times. I ate and ate and ate some more. And then when I could eat
no more. I went off for a Christmas nap, and I had pleasant dreams of tuna and
salmon all coming to me on a plate.
We had our second major snowfall today. Around an inch of
snow fell. It wasn’t a major storm, but enough to cause life to slow down a
little. But I learned a couple of things today.
The first thing is always read your snow removal contract if
you’re a business owner. I learned this after I heard my supervisor say to the
snow removal company “What do you mean you only plow after it snows an inch?” I
automatically began to pray that I wasn’t given a shovel, and asked to begin
shoveling the parking lot. It’s a big parking lot. Soon the supervisor was
looking for a shovel. She went outside, and after about five minutes returned
muttering about snow removal policies.
The second thing I learned is snow cleats have a left and
right. I learned this as I saw someone come inside a store. She looked at her
shoes, and said, “These things don’t feel right today. I wonder if these things
have a left and right?” She pulled off the snow cleat, and looked at them. Sure
enough they did have a right and left, and she had them on the wrong feet.
I was recently contacted by James Moore to review his book Your Band Is a Virus Expanded Edition. So here are my thoughts on his book.
Do you have a band? Do you want your band to be more than a
hobby for you? Then you should follow the advice of James Moore in Your Band is
a Virus Expanded Edition. But this book doesn’t only apply to bands. It is a
useful guide for any individual who wishes to promote their artwork in a
creative and effective way.
The book emphasizes that in order for an artist to become
successful, the artist must view his artwork as a business. And it provides
some valuable ways to market your band. It encourages musicians to be
professionals from the get go, which is something in my opinion many bands
overlook. It also provides some websites to visit, and place information about
your band. The book also includes ideas on ways bands can promote themselves
free of charge. It also includes ideas on contests, websites, and how to
contact the media, record companies, and radio stations.
The author is careful to point out that making it as a
musician is hard work, and musicians must prepare themselves for all of this
work. He encourages the reader to use the book as a workbook for success. He
also encourages individuals to use their creative spirit, and not limit
themselves to the ideas in the book.
I liked this book because the author provided clear examples
of ways that his recommendations can work. He encourages individuals to work
hard to make their dream come true, and he encourages them not to give up on their
dream. I also liked how portions of the book can apply to any business,
especially any creative business. In my opinion, this book is a must read for
any musicians who wish to have music as their livelihood.
Yes, I continue to dream of catnip. But one of my other
great passions in life is grooming. I am a handsome boy, and I always need to
look my best. So I groom, and I groom. I also enjoy grooming others. I see how
they need to look so I just lend a helping hand. I groom my roommates, and when
I feel that my pet human requires grooming I assist her. But she doesn’t seem
to like it. I am trying to show her how much I care for her, and I want to
assure that she looks beautiful by grooming her. But when I do she says stop
that, and then she pushes me away. I just don’t understand humans.
Doesn’t it feel great when you go out to do your Christmas
shopping, and find exactly what you’ve been looking for? Even better when that
happens at the first store you go to.That happened to me today. I can’t tell you what I was buying or the
person I was shopping for, but I can say it was a fantastic feeling to
justbe able to say that’s exactly what
I’ve been looking for.
